Accommodation is close to the slopes plus frequent shuttles are available to most of the lakes surrounding ski area's. A rental car is an option here but certainly not essential.

Snowmaking:
One of America's largest snowmaking systems that cover 70% of the mountain trails. Heavenly features top to bottom snowmaking coverage in both California and Nevada, more coverage than any other Tahoe resort.

Snowboarding:
Heavenly offers snowboarding on 100% of the mountain. This season, the resort will offer a snowboard park, a snowboard-cross course, and a halfpipe. Several terrain features are also constructed regularly on the mountain, including spines, rolls and flat-tops.

 Located less than a half block from the new Heavenly Gondola and the exciting casino nightlife. Features one and two bedroom suites with full kitchens. Situated on 5.5 beautifully gardened acres, the property includes 2 year-round outdoor swimming pools, 2 outdoor hot tubs, health club, game room, laundry facilities, picnic barbeque area, and a complimentary continental breakfast. Although the Forest Inn is just a short walk to the casinos, a complimentary shuttle is also available. Ski area shuttles pick up at the hotel property as well.
