Solden Austria

Join the Voyageur Ski Club of Toronto on their annual group charter, this time to the fabulous high altitude resort of Solden, Austria.
Sölden is the vibrant international ski resort par excellence, with a place in the hearts of many visitors who would not dream of skiing elsewhere - and the key to sucess is the utter dependability of the snow in the Ötztal Arena. It's unique situation means masses of snow arrives on cue each winter, with 22 lifts serving a lovely range of slopes for all abilities.
But just to underline the fact that snow is assured, there is skiing on the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers with a well-planned system of 10 ski lifts. This means that season is in full swing here while many other resorts are still waiting for snow to arrive. In autumn it is a training Mecca for National ski teams to train - and for anyone who can't wait to get back on skis.
The villages have a great range of apres ski, and the well equipped sport centre can take care of any excess energy.

Taxes
|
We have INCLUDED all current fuel surcharges and flight taxes, however in these volatile times, we retain the right to add or remove any surcharges applied by the airlines before tickets are issued.

Cancellation
|
All room and air space may be cancelled without penalty up to 90 days prior to departure. Cancellations after this date incur the following penalties:
89 to 50 days before departure – loss of deposits
49 to 31 days before departure – 50% of tour cost
30 days or less before departure - 100% of tour cost

Insurance
|
Be sure you have at least medical and preferably cancellation/interruption insurance for a ski trip outside Canada. This insurance includes coverage for medical evacuation by helicopter, standard practise in the Alps.
Cancellation insurance may only be purchased at time of trip deposit.
Costs are as follows:
0 to 59 years: Medical = $28.00; All-inclusive Cancellation/Interruption, Medical = $177.00.
60 to 64 years: Medical = $42.00; All-inclusive Cancellation/Interruption, Medical = $201.00.
65 to 69 years: Medical = $50.00; All-inclusive Cancellation/Interruption, Medical = $246.00.
70 to 74 years: Medical = $102.00; All-inclusive Cancellation/Interruption, Medical = $326.00.
Cancellation Only insurance is also available. Simply deduct the medical cost from the All-Inclusive.
