Badgastein / Bad Hofgastein

    The Gastein Valley is one of the five largest ski area's in Austria, located 100km south of the city of Salzburg, and at 1000m above sea level, Badgastein is the highest ski resort in the province of Salzburg. A beautiful spa town with eighteen thermal springs bubbling up from the mountains at a temperature of 45°C. Enjoy the healing power of the radon water, curative galleries, thermal sanatorium, and health centres. The centre of town is a pedestrian district and offers many fine restaurants, beautiful shops, manicured parks and promenades. Bad Hofgastein is its sister resort just 15km down the valley.
