Hotel Mítico Puelo

Hotel Mitico Puelo

Hotel Mítico Puelo, a warm and cozy refuge for those who want to experience fly fishing and other activities in Chile's North Patagonia, is located at the shore of lake Tagua Tagua. Its architecture provides quiet corners, perfect for sharing the adventures of the day or to rest. You'll find twelve spacious rooms with private bathroom, as well as central heating, game room, bar, laundry and a spectacular hot tub. Its gastronomy highlights fresh products and traditional meals, curanto, BBQ, disco, fish, meat, vegetables, fruit and deliciuos kuchen and desserts, accompanied by excellent chilean wines and exquisite appetizers and pisco sour.

Isla Las Bandurrias

Isla Las Bandurrias

Our private island has one charming cabaña and a well-equipped two-story cottage heated solely by firewood; the same system also heats water for showers. The cabaña offers accommodation for up to six people, with two shared bathrooms. The main house has two double rooms and one single room with two shared bathrooms, which offer a splendid view of a native coigue forest. The interior is decorated entirely in French country decor, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere for meals and pre-dinner cocktails with our host Francoise Dutheil. The living and dining areas and sundeck overlook a small beach next to a quay. Here you will find stunning views of Lago Las Rocas and the surrounding mountain peaks. Or take a stroll through the grounds; the house is surrounded by Francoise's flower garden--a natural habitat for nesting birds and other wildlife. The cuisine is a special blend of flavors and ingredients that make up Creole-Chilean cooking. A traditional wood stove gives a light smoky taste to the dishes. Depending on the season, it's possible to taste fresh local rainbow trout, fontinalis, or salmon trout. The area's fruits and vegetables, including an impressive variety of local berries, are superb. Vegetarian dishes are a delicious option; just let us know when you make your reservation that you prefer not to eat meat and fish. The island has a private collection of amazing wines and drinking water is crystal clear, safe to drink, and tastes delicious
