8 day Independent tour

Here in the Wachau district the Danube is at its most beautiful. A friendly climate and steep slopes form ideal conditions for vineyards and orchards. Some of the best wines of Austria grow in Wachau and of course not to forget the local apricots.
The varied hiking tour past steep rocks, over soft hills and through scenting vineyards simply is blissful. A special feature of this countryside is the many small villages where everything centres on good food and wine. Enjoy Wachau.

Highlights:

- Danube/Wachau centre Krems with its historic town centre

- The special scent of vineyards and orchards

- Gorgeous views of the Danube valley

- Lovely typical wine-grower villages of Wachau

- Cultural monuments as e.g. the splendid baroque monastery Melk

- Boat tour on the Danube
