A veritable city-fortress completely surrounded by water, an architectural jewel of art and culture.

First day on bike among fruit plantations and vineyards of the eminent Lugana still white wine, characteristic of this region. You arrive in Solferino, the site of the famous battle that ended the Second War of Independence, providing the basis for a united Italy.

Day 3: Peschiera del Garda - Desenzano del Garda (45 km)

In the search for another highly valued place on the west bank of the lake, you will ride on to Desenzano where there will be a round tour on the sweet morainic hills. For the less athletic, the town offers various possibilities to pass several hours relaxing peacefully on the banks of the lake. Transfer by train from Desenzano to Peschiera for the night.

Day of rest and relax. Use the opportunity for a visit to the walled city and its lake. Alternative excursion to Sirmione by public transportation.

Pedal towards Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, with the river Adige passing through it; this is one of the most beautiful cities in Veneto. Don’t miss the roman Arena, the stunning Church of San Zeno and, naturally, Juliet’s House. Transfer by train from Verona to Peschiera for the night.

An evocative route which is suitable for everyone along one of the most fampous and loved cycle paths of Italy. From Lake Garda to Mantua between the provinces of Verona and Mantua inside the Regional Nature Park of the river Mincio. Transfer by train from Mantua to Peschiera for the overnight stay.

After breakfast your cycling tour comes to an end and you may begin your journey home. We would also be more than happy to extend your stay in Europe.

EASY: You will ride for approximately 170 km in 4 stages, all the routes are on rural /secondary roads or on cycle paths in the area of Garda Lake. The entrance to Verona has slightly more traffic but only for a short stretch.

The nearest airport is Verona. Other options are Venice or Milan. Regular train service is available from all three to Peschiera, where your tour is based.
