8 day Escorted tour

This Multi-Adventure cruise in South Dalmatia is particularly well-suited for families, couples or individuals seeking a variety of sports and activities while exporing the beautiful coastline and islands of Croatia.
Spend a week on our 4 star motor vessel that takes you from island to island, sparing you the nuisance of packing suitcases and searching for accommodation. Some nights are spent in port, others in quiet bays. Decide each day anew whether you would like to go on a bike trip or on a hiking tour, go rafting or rather stroll leisurely through the unique small harbor towns of the Adriatic - or simply spend the day relaxing on board. This is indeed a pleasant way of exploring southern Dalmatia, possibly Croatia’s most attractive landscape.
With you on board is a well-informed tour guide who can always point out various possibilities of creating an active or a relaxed holiday. Through stories and legends and through the country’s cultural treasures - most of which are protected by UNESCO’s World Heritage program - you will get in touch with Croatia’s eventful history.

DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Individual arrival in Trogir

day1

Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 5 km away from the harbor of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht the first short cruise starts at 1 pm from Trogir to Split. Here we undertake our first guided walk to the Marjan mountain, a popular relaxation destination for the inhabitants of Split. After this tour our guide accompanies us on a walk through the old town of Split, which is built adjoining the famous palace of the Roman Caesar Diokletian and is a world heritage site.

Day 2: Cetina Canyon & Brac Island

After a short cross we reach Omiš on the Croatian mainland with its pirate castles. Here we have the option of taking part in a 2 hour rafting tour on the Cetina River. A second possibility is to take part in a short, only 12 km long cycling tour into the valley of the Cetina River, which has buried itself deep into the cliff faces. In the afternoon we cross over to Brac Island with a swim break. The island of Brac is very famous for its white marble which has been used for the White House in Washington and the Reichstag in Berlin.

Day 3: Korcula Island

day3

Early morning crossing to the island of Korcula. Your wood motor sailer stops in Racišce. Here you can decide yourself whether to bike 14 km on a very slightly ascending coastal road to the Old Town of Korcula, to walk in about 2 hours up the 400 m ascent to a small village tavern, or to remain on board until you reach the Old Town of Korcula. In late afternoon, you all met up in Korcula for a brief walk through the island capital, which competes with Venice for the honor of being Marco Polo’s birthplace.

Day 4: Mljet Island

In the morning our boat takes us to Mljet, which is also known as the honey island. In the 12th century Benedictine monks founded a beautiful monastery, which we will see on our short bike trip. The local pine forest is one of the most beautiful of its kind in the entire Mediterranean region; Odysseus is said to have spent 7 years here. Today this region is a National Park and one of the highlights of every Dalmatian journey. We will spend the whole day here. The National Park can be explored by bicycle or on foot or by kayak. If weather conditions are good we spend the evening and the night in a quiet bay.

Day 5: Hvar Island
day5

During breakfast, crossing to the island of Hvar, with a break for swimming. After arrival in Hvar, you go on a sight-seeing tour through town, across the large Renaissance Square enclosed by the cathedral and many late-gothic palaces, then a walk up to the Spanish fortress overlooking the town. From there, you have a fabulous view across the town and the surrounding islands. The surroundings of Hvar Town can be explored either on foot or by bike. Bicycle to a small fishing harbor or visit a cave or one of the nearby bays for a swim.

Day 6: Hvar Island

In the morning the San Snova takes us to Stari Grad on the north end of the island. After arrival we undertake a small guided tour through the beautiful Old Town, which has become a Mecca for artists and art lovers in the past few years. After lunch a short crossing over to Jelsa. Alternatively you can cycle from Stari Grad to Jelsa. Or you can discover in the afternoon on foot the idyllic harbors of Jelsa and Vrboska.

Day 7: Brac Island
day7

Short morning crossing to Bol located opposite on the island of Brac. Starting from the harbor, it is an easy walk to the famous „Golden Horn“, a pebble beach extending so far into the sea that it has taken the form of a horn. You can also explore the surroundings of Bol and the "Golden Horn" by bike.
Around noon, the dinghy of the motor sailer will pick you up at the beach of the "Golden Horn" and take you to the ship for lunch. While you are eating, you head for Trogir, where you can leisurely end the tour with a guided walk through the old quarters of Trogir.

Day 8: Journey home or extension of stay

Disembarkation until 9 am and individual departure.

After breakfast your cycling tour comes to an end and you may begin your journey home. We would also be more than happy to extend your stay in Europe.
