Travelling by kayak is exciting and provides an intimate relationship with the water especially when you share a passage with the towering dorsal fins of a pod of orcas. We're on the water everyday kayaking from our superb campsite, watching and listening for whales.
Paddling the waves and tidal currents in your small but stable craft, you listen to the powerful breathing of these great creatures. Complementing the experience of whale viewing is the opportunity to paddle in the most beautiful northwest coastal area with a myriad of islands covered in temperate rainforest and bathed in biologically rich tidal waters from the open Pacific.
The indigenous Kwagiulth, a tribe famed for their great carvers, depend on the natural bounty of this area, particularly the salmon. A trip of a lifetime!

The Yukon is a revelation, its people, scenery and almost unimaginable wilderness are likely to provide some of the most exhilarating moments while travelling in Canada. This region contains some of the highest mountains, grandiose swaths of forest and tundra and a fascinating history and cultural experience.
The Tatshenshini is perhaps the wildest and most visually spectacular river in North America. It flows through the heart of the largest bio-preserve in the world. Some of the biggest herds of caribou in North America populate the plains, mountain sheep clamber around the slopes and timber wolves roam the forests. Bald eagles abound; grizzlies feed on spawning salmon and if you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the elusive and rare blue glacier bear.
Rafting is a safe and stable expedition craft and ideal for those who desire their hands free to take photos or to travel in a more relaxed fashion. The guide manoeuvres with oars and paddling is completely optional. This adventure is a journey of unparalleled excitement and beauty.

Belize is a gorgeous tropical jewel that sits right on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
Its rich Mayan heritage is well preserved for us to explore and reflect upon. Belize boasts the second longest barrier reef, and the perfect way to explore this region is by kayak. Offshore, Belize's barrier reef and other isolated reefs are sprinkled with numerous small islands, sandy beaches, isolated coves and warm Caribbean breezes.
This tour starts in Placentia, with its colorful homes, palm trees and three mile long beachfront. We have the opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful cays in Belize. There is time to snorkel, swim or relax in your hammock as the sun sets. This is an adventure accessible to enthusiasts of all levels, as we offer a support boat throughout.
This kayak tour is rated as moderate for activities and is perfect for families. Dolphins play in the clear Belize sea waters. Our support boat follows you while kayaking among some of the most beautiful intimate Belize islands. Climb deep into the jungle pyramids and experience the lost cities of the Maya, the unique Belize lifestyle, delicious seafood, lively music and relaxing amid breathtaking sunsets.

Imagine sea kayaking along a spectacular section of the Sea of Cortez coastline and exploring desert islands piercing the tranquil waters. The towering volcanic escarpments of the Sierra Giganta Mountains rising out of the sea create your backdrop.
On a Baja kayak tour you'll experience red-hued desert colors, azure blue water and magical landforms give this area great aesthetic and photographic appeal.
These waters offer exceptional opportunities for viewing dolphins, sea lions and blue whales in the wild. High-flying frigate birds, blue-footed boobies and squadrons of pelicans are your companions as you kayak past manta rays and brightly colored fish.
In Sea of Cortez (the body of water that separates mainland Mexico from the Baja California peninsula) we can see the blue whale (largest mammal on earth) and fin whales and dolphins. There are only about 4,000 blue whales living on earth today, they travel singly and it is not yet known by scientists their migratory pattern if any. Huge cacti thrive in this captivating landscape of white sand beaches, dramatic cliffs and hidden coves. Nature hikes take us up scenic canyons and headlands offering unforgettable panoramas of wild coastline and scattered islands.
Kayaks are the best way to explore the volcanic shoreline, its sea caves and reefs. The warm, crystalline waters of the Sea of Cortez host a breathtaking array of tropical fish - perfect for snorkeling.

Simply the best of Belize! We have spent over a decade exploring this beautiful country, from remote jungle wilderness to the awesome architecture of the Mayans. We push just a little farther into the unknown to bring you the adventure of a lifetime.
Because Belize has experienced a dramatic increase in adventure travel in recent years, we are a bit reluctant to share all of our secrets. However, we will say this: if you are looking for out of the way places, a chance to see the old Belize, the wild Belize, then this program is for you!
This 8-day adventure tour offers participants the opportunity to explore tropical culture and natural history with a blend of adventure and discovery. Belize is a tropical jewel that sits on the shores of the Caribbean. It possesses the largest tracts of pristine rainforest in Central America. Its rich Mayan heritage is well preserved for us to explore and reflect upon.
Belize also boasts the second longest barrier reef, the largest number of unexplored caverns, extensive Mayan ruins, the world's only Jaguar Preserve, and the second highest waterfall in the western hemisphere. Offshore, Belize's barrier reef and other isolated reefs are sprinkled with numerous small islands.
This tour is an ideal blend of experiences for the active traveller. It includes paddling on the diverse inland water system and exploring lush rainforests and ancient Mayan ruins. Wildlife viewing and birding opportunities are abundant in this pristine environment.

Baja Desert Whales Kayak AdvenTour From $1,595 CDN

We start this exciting one-week itinerary with a traverse of the peninsula from La Paz to the West Coast. This 3-hour journey by van crosses the southern-most extension of the Sierra Giganta Mountains and the westward sloping Magdalena Plain.
At the site, we leave behind the unique desert vegetation for red, black and white mangrove estuaries, typical of our paddling area in the northern end of Magdalena Bay. The intense Baja sun coupled with calm shallows causes a dramatic increase in water temperature.
The extensive lagoons of Magdalena Bay have for thousands of years witnessed and hosted grey whale mating and birthing. A 5000-mile annual migration from the Bering Sea to these lagoons makes this area the world's largest whale nursery and is the stage of an incredible survival story. Remarkably, the estimated population today is thought to be above pre-whaling numbers.
The exhilarating experience of viewing and photographing these magnificent mammals will present itself later in the week. This time of year, our kayaks are literally surrounded by whales, so we can honestly guarantee whale sightings on our tours.

There are two options to choose from, the San Blas Islands or the Boca Del Toro. The San Blas archipelago is home to the most fiercely independent indigenous peoples of the Americas: the Kuna. We have been given special permission from the council of chiefs to enter and explore this unspoiled archipelago.
Due to its compact size, it's possible to touch two continents and swim in two oceans in one day. Panama's forests contain more species than any other country in North and Central America, and serves as a migratory path for birds traversing the continents of North and South America.
The tour begins in Panama City, a bustling metropolis with the best shopping, dining and nightlife in Central America, as well as a resurgent historical quarter. Floating down the Chagres River we are taken to a native village where traditional culture still thrives. We then are escorted by our indigenous friends up river in their handcrafted wooden canoes. There's plenty of opportunity to hone your kayaking skills throughout the tour.
The tours are rated as moderate and include all equipment, services of an experienced guide, meals, internal flights and accommodations. Panama is a country forged by various cultures and traditions that come together to create a unique complexity and exotic environment.
